Beyond the Horizon: The Future is Personal
How We Lead, Partner and Build What’s Next
The future isn’t something we simply prepare for—it’s something we have the opportunity to shape.
This year’s MEGA~ Beyond the Horizon: The Future is Personal is an immersive walking tour designed around movement, interaction, and curated learning. With 3 venues 400H, CI Design and Interior Elements, 3 breakout sessions, and groups moving together throughout the day, you’ll experience every conversation, connection, and insight along the way.
The format is intentionally interactive—creating space to exchange ideas, gain fresh market intelligence, build meaningful relationships, and explore the trends shaping what comes next.
But this event is about more than understanding the future. It’s about developing people who can confidently navigate what’s coming—and ultimately become the leaders who shape it.
Join us as we explore how we lead, how we partner, and how we build what’s next.

Keynote Speaker:
Meet Paul Bramson:
Paul Bramson is a globally recognized keynote speaker and author of Connecting Like A PRO®: Unleash Your Superpower. For more than 25 years, he has equipped over 500,000 professionals to communicate, lead, influence, and connect more effectively in the moments that matter most.
Known for turning complex human dynamics into practical, immediately usable tools, Paul brings a dynamic, highly interactive, and distinctive presence to the stage. His audiences do more than listen. They participate, discover, and leave seeing the people around them differently.
At this year’s MEGA Event, Paul will bring his signature Connecting Like A PRO® experience to life through the theme, Beyond the Horizon: The Future Is Personal. Through his proprietary Underlying Motivators® framework, Paul will show attendees how to better understand what drives them and the people around them, adapt communication in real time, build trust faster, and strengthen relationships across clients, partners, project teams, and stakeholders.
Hear directly from Paul Here
To make the most of the session, we will send you the Underlying Motivators® Assessment in advance to complete via email.
A note from Paul on why this first step matters:
Why do you instantly click with some people, while others leave you feeling like you’re speaking different languages?
You can be clear, thoughtful, and well-intentioned and still miss what matters most to the other person. Beneath every conversation are motivators shaping what we hear, how we respond, and whom we trust.
The assessment will help uncover what drives the way you communicate, build trust, and respond when the stakes are high.
Featured Sessions:
Beyond the Ask: Knowing What Your Client Needs Next - Courtney Fain, JLL and Summer Whitney, Truist
Your client knows what they want. Do you know what they'll need next? Don't just answer, anticipate.
Clients come to us with needs, expectations, budgets and solutions already in mind. What happens when the request they bring you isn't the solution they will actually need tomorrow? This session explores what it means to truly know your client, not just by listening to what they say, but by recognizing the signals, behaviors, trends and underlying needs they may not yet see.
Learn how to ask better questions, challenge assumptions and identify what the future holds so you can confidently guide your client towards a solution that is built for where they are going, not just where they are today.
Being a trusted advisor means having the courage to see beyond the ask.
Beyond Borders: Growing Global, Staying Local - Teressa Merck, Raffe Khazadian
and Maya Gacina - Moderator, Ci Design, Inc.
Global reach means nothing without relevance.
Expanding into new markets takes more than just a global strategy. It takes local insight, resources with tenure and understanding.
How do you identify the right people, resources, relationships, and market intelligence to understand what is happening on the ground, while also maintaining the culture and authenticity that make your organization successful? This session explores how organizations can expand their global presence without losing their local advantages, learning to navigate different markets, cultures and dynamics while staying relevant to the people they serve.
The goal isn't to be everywhere there is a client or opportunity. It is to know how to be relevant where you are.
Beyond the Role: Positioning Yourself for What's Next - Jason Byrd- Redline, Kevin Mertens- Barringer Construction and Kathryn Hoover, Cooper Tacia
Don't wait for the next role. Prepare for it.
What does it really take to move from individual contributor to manager, or even from manager to the next level leadership? The next step in your career requires more than doing your current role well, it requires a shift in how you think, influence and connect. It requires you to communicate and show up differently. This session is a roundtable, honest conversation about recognizing when you are ready for more, understanding the next level expectations and intentionally positioning yourself for the opportunity before it arrives. Come ready to challenge your perspective, identify your next-level gaps and leave with actionable steps to move your career forward.
The future of your career isn't something you wait for. It's something you position yourself for.
Beyond the Leader: Building What Comes Next - Sarah Troutman- HagerSmith, John Reid Sidebotham- SpyGlass
Great leaders don't just build businesses. They build who comes next.
What happens when a key leader leaves? Is the organization prepared or does the knowledge, relationships, culture and momentum leave with them? This session takes succession planning beyond a spreadsheet and a list of names. This conversation explores how leaders intentionally identify and develop future talent, transfer institutional knowledge, build leadership continuity and create a culture where the next generation is prepared to step forward.
Because succession isn't something you start when someone is ready to leave. It is something you build long before they do.
Come ready to think differently about your leadership legacy and what you are doing today to ensure the organization is ready for tomorrow.
