Join us for Midday in the Garden, a lunch time tour through the newly

renovated San Diego Botanical Garden in Balboa Park. Over the lunch

hour, we’ll explore the remarkable engineering and design behind this

architectural gem, uncovering the innovation that brought new life to a

beloved landmark. Along the way, we’ll discuss the importance of

historic preservation in San Diego and how treasures like these make

Balboa Park—and our entire city—a true cultural jewel. The tour

concludes with a relaxing picnic on the grass, celebrating the beauty

and heritage that continue to shape San Diego’s vibrant landscape

and real estate appeal.

building engineer, general contractor and Balboa Park Foundation.
