DEI: An Inward Journey With Hush TeaBar

A mental wellness event hosted by Hush TeaBar.
Participants will journey inward to disconnect, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and others through a silent tea ceremony co-led by the Deaf and persons with lived mental health experiences.

SCHEDULE:

Start:	5:30PM (registration)
End:	7:30PM
Duration:	90 mins

Attire:
- The venue is indoor with AC. Bring light jacket for comfort, if needed.

Session etiquette (towards facilitators):

1. Empathise
- Understand and honour their lived experiences.
- Be mindful and respect their pace and preferences.

2. Be present
- Give your full attention, maintain eye contact and respond with genuine interest.
- Support their independence.

3. Enjoy
- Be flexible and light-hearted. Your energy and your smiles set the tone!
- Treasure the connection - every interaction is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make someone feel seen and valued.

4. Others
- Please do not take photos or post on social media without their consent.
