Steve See

Director of Real Estate | Phillips 66

 

Steve See serves as Director of Real Estate Strategy and Services at Phillips 66, leading enterprise-wide initiatives in acquisitions, dispositions, space planning, portfolio optimization, and property tax strategy. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate real estate and facilities management, Steve is known for his strategic vision, operational excellence, and ability to drive complex, high-impact initiatives.

At Phillips 66, Steve has guided major organizational transformations—including the headquarters transition for 2,000 employees, the rollout of the FM Systems platform, and multiple innovations in AI, automation, and data integration. His leadership has strengthened the alignment between real estate strategy, business needs, and employee experience, while delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, technology adoption, and portfolio performance.

Steve’s career also includes leadership roles in Facilities Services at Phillips 66 and nearly a decade overseeing campus logistics at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he managed large-scale operations, multimillion-dollar service agreements, and institution-wide process improvements.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas State University and earned the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation. Through his decades of service, mentorship, and industry impact, Steve See exemplifies the spirit of CoreNet Houston’s Lifetime Achievement Award—leaving a legacy that has elevated not only the organizations he has served, but the broader corporate real estate community.

Colin Baker

Manager of Economic Research | Greater Houston Partnership

Colin Baker is an economist serving as the Manager of Economic Research for the Greater Houston Partnership. There, he monitors local economic trends, analyzes what is motivating them, and communicates research findings to the public and business community.

Colin has over a decade of professional research experience. Prior to joining the Partnership, he worked for NERA Economic Consulting producing analysis for expert reports used in big tech antitrust litigation cases. He previously served as a local analyst on economic and political matters in Texas and Oklahoma for the Japanese Government at their Consulate in Houston and conducted statistical research for the Public Policy Research Institute at Texas A&M University.

Colin holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Texas, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and Japanese. He is a native Houstonian, a lover of Texas barbecue, and a diehard Astros fan.
